About Yardley Gardens
490-506 Church Road, Yardley, Birmingham, B33 8PE
The smaller of our two Yardley developments, Yardley Gardens is situated in the peaceful conservation area of Old Yardley, a stone’s throw from the iconic grade 1 listed St Edburgha’s Church, parts of which date back to the 13th century, and the black and white timbered Trust School, built in the 15th century.
Originally built in 1903, this modernised development consists of eight one-bedroom bungalows and two one-bedroom flats, as well as a cosy residents’ lounge. Although the dwellings feature all mod cons, the overall design of the development is classic for almshouses, with homes built in a u-shape around attractive gardens.

Old Yardley Park is a short walk away, and has flat, well-maintained footpaths. It has several points of interest, including a rose garden and a memorial fountain. A communal lounge hosts various parties and activities for residents and their friends and families. Residents can also take part in activities at Yardley Grange Nursing Home, which is a stone’s throw away.
